I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
The market is quiet. A lot of projects are going dark and people are slowly leaving the space. And it's not just projects or the people either. Infrastructure companies are shutting too - the pipes the whole ecosystem runs on. When those go, everyone feels it, including us.
Some days it feels like the scammers are the only ones still working. We're working anyway. Six years in. To be real, you get used to it - the exhaustion - and you do it anyway because the work you do matters.
So. Here's what we've been up to.
More chains. More communities.

Integrate your staking contract.

We're thinking hard about DAOs.
DAOs have some of the most complex membership needs in this space: layered token structures, governance, and participation. You've got contributors at different levels of involvement and working to get the right people in the right spaces. DAOs just make that all more interesting (and more complex) to solve.

SmartTag is going global.
SmartTag started as an experiment. It became something much bigger.

AI Agents are coming.
For communities and for members! This is the part I'm most excited about. And I want to be clear about what I mean.
We're watching a real shift happen. From "tell the AI what to do" to the AI working independently, with the goals of the community and the member as its directive.
That's what we're building toward.
Community AI Agents will live inside the Command Center. They'll read your community, surface what's actually happening, create quests and send rewards via SmartTag. They will flag scams and give admins a health report with real suggestions. And the most interesting development - the Agent to Agent communication will find collaborations and then bring the plan to the humans for sign off.
Community managers will be able to grant Agents permission to run campaigns independently too. Or keep full control. Either way, the Agent is working for you.
AI Twins will launch from a Member Portal. Your AI Twin joins your communities as your representative. It tracks what's happening across all of them, flags what needs your attention, and can be delegated permissions to act on your behalf, including spending a defined percentage of assets from your SmartTag smart address.
Both surfaces are in development. Command Center will get a redesign. The Member Portal is a new concept built to meet members where they are. No timelines yet, but the direction is set. If you're watching where Web3 communities are heading, you already know this is where we're going.

Collab.Land token gating and membership verification operates as a read-only application. By signing a message to add a new wallet, you affirm ownership of that particular wallet address. Collab.Land solely accesses public blockchains to verify that a member’s wallet addresses are linked to the required tokens for role or group membership. Collab.Land maintains no access beyond reading public wallet addresses, which are transparent to all users.
